We are having a boy in May via gestational carrier. We have a 6 year old daughter that I BF for 15 months. I was told that I could BF this child as well, so I rented a medela symphony pump and have been on a schedule for the past 6 days, double pumping on even hours for a minimum of 10 minutes (more if I can), and just skipping midnight and 4 am. I am drinking milkmaid tea and thinking of getting some domperidone (but I worry about legality issues). From the first pump I have been getting a greenish liquid from both breasts, just a drop from each. I know this is not milk or colostrum, but does it mean any thing? Also at what point, if I continue on this schedule, should I expect to be producing something? Do I continue this schedule, or should I increase pumping time, or pumping frequency at some point? Thank you for any help.

You can add the domperidone but will likely not see significant production without doing at least the accelerated protocol.
