Hi:
I'm starting my 6th week of the protocol. My side effects from the dom have changed from gas to indigestion now. I may go to a bland diet - easily digestable foods - until my body adjusts.

Does anyone know what kind of foods those are??? LOL!!!!

Otherwise, I'm pleased with my changes in my breasts and hope to have a wonderful breastfeeding experience this time.

Hi Karie,

Did you try Phazyme? That seems to help. You need to avoid antacids because they can interfere with the domperidone.

Warmest regards,

I have been on the protocal for about one month and have suffered the worst heartburn. Yikes, is it really not good to use antacids, either the chewable or the pill form as Nona mentioned. I have been using them both.

I have been getting good physical signs from the protocal. I have gone from a "C" to almost an "E" cup. Husband want's to know if they are ever going to stop (I told him he wouldn't mind if I had a tiny little waist to go with them, hehe). With seeing the change in breast size, it has taken everything I have to resist pumping...I can't wait.

I went Monday to get an acupuncture treatment. I told them about the heartburn, and come to think of it, I haven't had it so bad this week. I also had them do some lactation points, hope it all helps!

Hi Lenore:
I haven't tried the phazyme yet. I'm on my way down to the pharmacy tomorrow to get some. The gas is back. : (

Hi Nona,

It's a good idea to stagger the domperidone if taking antacids that contain bi-carb. Otherwise it should be ok according to Thomas Hale, Ph.D "Medications and Mother's MIlk", 2004.
