You don't need to start over, just continue, and please continue on the medications even if your baby arrives. You need at least 30 days on the meds before starting to pump. If baby arrives before your 30 days are up, just breastfeed with the help of the lact-aid.
You should be able to get a 34 weeker to the breast provided that your baby is able to take nurishment by mouth. Please arrange for a board certified lactation consultant to help you. See if the hospital has one or you can find one here

Once the 30 days are up if you can pump, great. If baby is here and you're breastfeeding with the lact-aid, try to pump after feeds for about 10 minutes.
