Good luck, Ellie Mae. Don't worry, you'll pull it together with the breastfeeding. I'm so excited for you. Good luck on the latching and enjoy those first precious days together.

Hi Ellie Mae,

Congratulations on your new arrival!! The best advice I can give you is to contact a board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) to assist you with latch and positioning of your baby at the breast so that breastfeeding is not painful and baby can feed efficiently. You can find an IBCLC here www.ilble.org Just click on the "about IBCLE" button and the US and International registries pop up.

Wishing you the best of luck with your new little one.

Warmest regards,

Lenore Goldfarb, Ph.D.,CCC,IBCLC
Wife to Rob, Mom to Adam aged 13, and Ethan aged 9, both born via GS and breastfed via Regular Newman-Goldfarb Protocol.
