I was wondering if anyone had domperidone available to buy. I ordered online previously, but didn't realize I am almost out and need it sooner than the shipping time gives for overseas. Also, is there any problem staying on it for a prolonged period of time. If I try to wean off I notice my milk significantly decreases, so I may need to be on it for a year to nurse my little guy. Thanks so much for your help.

Hi Becky,

Try the BUY/SELL/TRADE forum, you may have better luck there. And www.globaldrug.tv delivers in about 10 days. You can space our your domperidone by decreasing the dose and taking it 4 times per day to help tie you over until the new batch arrives. Note that it's important that your doctor monitor you while on any medications.

Studies are few regarding domperidone but one study involving diabetics who had been on domperidone 3 years, showed no ill effects. I've personally been on the domperidone for nearly 3 years myself. It will be 3 years in April.

Thanks Lenore,

I will try my post there while I wait for more to come in. I can't tell you how helpful this site is and has encouraged me to keep breastfeeding even when its gotten tough. It's so nice to know there are other women out there who value breastfeeding and all the work that goes into it!

Have a blessed day,
Becky
