Thanks everyone for their support thought this process. A little update. I am still pumping 8-10 times a day. I got three ounces today <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> I am so excited!! I love giving it to my little girl. I can't wait to one day cute the formula out of her diet. I hope that happens. Everyone that is trying to restablish supply let me be the first to tell you it works! I have been at it for about three weeks and at first I was just getting clear drops now I am getting three ounces of milk to feed my little one. At this rate anyone have a idea when I might be getting a full supply? I am still taking the dom three times a day. Have not started any herbs but have been thinking about trying. Any thoughts on that? Or should I just stick to what I am doing?

I have still been working on her with latching on. She still wants nothing to do with it and gets very angry and looks as me like, What do you want from me. It is fustrating and I will look into getting a aid. Anyone know of a place where they are not to expensive?

Jenny,

Wow that is great!!! I am about 9 days into pumping 8-10 times per day and started with drops as well. Now I am getting about 7cc per day total. It's not alot, but it's some and it's increasing! Your story gives me so much hope that in a few weeks I too could be producing 3 ounces a day! I would be thrilled! I am taking Dom 20mg 4 x day and just started Fenugreek yesterday. I just don't respond well to the pump is all. My son just turned 9 months on Saturday and he will not latch on at all. He did the other day, got frustrated with no milk (I had the SNS w/ the shield, it malfunctioned) and he bit down on the nipple to get something to come out (like he does with his soft spout sippy cups). OUCH! Thank goodness I had the shield on!

Congrats on all of your hard work!! I'm so happy for you!

Kristen

Thanks <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> I was just reading my last post a saw all the type errors <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> I need to sleep more I see. It can be done!! I was unsure at first and now I have a little over three ounces in the fridg waiting for my little one. Keep up the hard work and it will happen. It seemed like at frist nothing would happen than I started having a little on the bottem of the bottels. Than a week later it was a ounce than two and now three. It does take alot of work but it will happen for you.

I am using the medela advanced pump in style and that has worked best for me. I was using the medela lactina and nothing was happening. The PIS starts fast for let down than slows up and pulls harder. Once I stop seeing milk come out I will turn in off than back on to get the fast setting again than pump for about another five mins or so. That seems to help with me.

Good luck and keep us updated please. I like looking at other peoples experances. Keeps me motavated <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Jenny,

Your litte girl is so cute! My left breast started getting into the bottle today! Yay! The right one is almost dripping into the bottle . I pumped 1cc total 2 different times today and .75 most of the other times so far, so it's definitely picking up. I was almost uncomfortable this morning after not pumping in the night! Could tell I needed to pump. I am still not responding as well to the pump as I would like, but I'm getting there.

Thanks for posting your experience. I too get encouragement from seeing how others are doing.
