We have been chosen by a birthmom and I am guardedly optimistic that I'll be finished with the seemingly endless pumping at the beginning of April. I've been donating milk to a babe whose Mama has cancer, so at least it's been going somewhere wonderful, but I am tired of scheduling my day around pumping. I keep thinking I'll feel like I have more freedom when I only have to nurse. I'm also looking forward to not having to supplement much, if at all. Thanks for all your support over the past year as I've been doing the protocal and then pumping. I'll post when we have a baby!

I'm making about 30 oz a day, pumping 6 times a day, or so.

The birthmom who has chosen us is up in Portland and we'll all meet Thursday or Friday. I'm excited, but still a bit wary Our first adoption has been so sweet and the connection dd has with her birthmom is lovely. I can't plan that and I'm having trouble just letting go and letting it unfold in its own way.

Who are you working with? We're working with Open Adoption and Family Services.

Wooooooaaaaaa....30 ounces is awesome!!! You need this shirt I just saw. It says "I make milk, what's your super power". That is sooooo wonderful.

Afrindiemum and I just recently met. We are both from Oregon. Do you live in Oregon also? It is always so cool to meet "neighbors" on sites like these. Congrats on the selection. I hope everything goes off very well [color:"purple"] [/color]

I am right in between the two of you. I live near Salem.

I saw the shirt on line. Just do a search on Google and a few differnt places will pop up. There are a few different ones on Ebay also...like..."you are staring at my baby's lunch". Fun shirts!!

That is truely amazing that you are making 30 ounces...you go girl!
