hi all -
i'm curious as to whether or not any of you have used a baby scale that weighs the intake of breast milk in a baby after a feeding. i think they must be pretty expensive, but i wondered if there was one out there that is affordable. or if it's even worth the bother. i'm just interested in knowing the amount of milk a baby gets from me versus the supplementer.

Hi Afrindiemum,

The best advice I can give you is to contact a board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) who can show you how to tell if your baby is getting breastmilk from you. She may do pre and post weights but this is not the most accurate way of knowing what's going on.
