Congratulations on your little ones and on a fabulous breastfeeding experience!
Your hormones are likely keeping your nipples ripe and ready so to speak. But once you wean, everything should return as they were for the most part. Nipples tend to stay a little bigger but nothing drastic. It's important to wean slowly so that your breasts have an opportunity to replace your milk making structures with fatty tissue which is responsible for the size and shape of our breasts.
