Hi Everyone,

Breakthrough bleeding is quite common while on the protocols. I realise it's an inconvenience but if you can hang in there, it's worth the effort. Once you start pumping/breastfeeding you may not see "aunt flow" again for a good long time.

Best, Lenore

Hi

I have been on the regular protocol using Yasmin and 8 x 10mg Domperidone for the past 13 weeks. I started spotting about 2 weeks ago and now have almost 'proper' bleeding with cramps etc. I didn't have this when I IL 1st time round (3 years ago).

The only thing that's different this time round is that I am using a different brand of Domperidone as I am getting it prescribed on the NHS (UK). My pharmacist cannot let me have the Domperidone made by Janssen Cilag so I decided to order it online to see if it makes any difference. I am concerned that I may not succeed this time round but as I still have 13 more weeks on the protocol hopefully it will stop soon. I intend to pump for around 7-8 weeks as I did last time.

I had breast changes the first week or so, using my left over supply of the JC brand, but since switching on the cheaper brand I think that's when the bleeding started.

Has anyone else used another brand of Dom?
