I have been on the accelerated protocol for 64 days taking the Ortho 1/35 and dom. A few weeks ago, it looked like our match had fallen through. This evening we got a call that the baby was just born and the birthmom wants to move forward with the adoptive placement. This means that we could have a baby at home in just three days -- I'm in complete shock!

I'm assuming I stop taking the Ortho 1/35, start pumping and start taking the herbs -- just less prep time than recommended for the accelerated protocol. Any other words of wisdom for me?

Yep that is right Stop the bcp keep taking dom and add the herbs. Oh and pump like a mad woman until you get that baby to your breast. Do you have a lact-aid? You will need to nurse with that until your milk is in. Once you have baby at breast you should pump after feeds and only if you can fit it in. Don't make yourself crazy. Nursing with the lact-aid is better at bringing in supply than a pump anyday. Just make sure you have agood latch and see an IBCLC to have it checked.
Congrats Momma!!!

*sigh* Thanks for the congrats, but the birthmom ended up having a chage of heart. Again. So, I'm back on the protocol . . . again. . .
