OP Big Dreamer member B Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 16	Hi, We just got matched baby is due in 2 weeks yeah...yikes....I started the Accelerated protocol using Yaz and Dom anything else I can do to get my milk to build up fast???? I did nurse our adopted daughter over 5 years ago using the Accelarated protocol but I was on it for 3 months. I have never been pregnant and nursed with a full supply for over 6 months. Does anyone know if Steel Oats are better than regular oatmeal? Thanks...

Nona extra helpful experienced member Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 1,176	actually I would stay on the protocol for 2 months. You can nurse with a suplimenter for that 2 months.. Or atleast 30 days. You have to give it atleast 30 days. Then you can add your fenugreek and blessed thistle and continue to nurse your baby.. minus the BCP pills. You can also pump after feeds to help build your supply when you stop the bcp pills. But til then nothing else you cvan do. Just nurse with your suplimenter and stay on the protocol Adoptive mommy to 4 , Last 2 adopted nursed. Youngest nursed till she was 5! Raising 2 grandbabies, as infants they were raised on donor breast milk
