Hello,
I am an IBCLC and a client has contacted me about adoptive breastfeeding. I met with her today to get a thorough history from her.
She is currently taking Atenalol (50mg she thinks) for mild hypertension which she has taken for about 15 years.
She is also taking Glucophage daily (not for hyperglycemia or any blood glucose problems, but is taking for the "infertility issues".
I was wondering if there is a problems with either of these two medications using the accelerated protocol. (Birth Control Pills, Domperidone, Fenugreek, Blessed Thistle) Should she stop taking the Glucophage once the Fenugreek is started?
We will be following closely with a physician.
Thanks.
