I was just wondering. When do I start saving the milk that I am pumping? I have forgotten how long it takes for the pill to get out of the system so that the milk is safe for the baby.

Jen,
It takes between a few days to up to one week generally for the bcp to get out of your system. Remember though, that many women take low dose bcp while nursing,,,and it is considered safe..so I would go ahead and save your milk now..don't let that liquid gold go to waste! Take care, Cathy
