Ok, just got a phone call from our Birthmother. Everything looks like it is on track for a scheduled c-section on November 11th (though she could always go into labor earlier). That is two weeks from tomorrow (Tues). I have been on bcp and dom for 6 weeks (90mg dom for 4 weeks). I have breast tenderness...leaking yellow-whitish milk on occasion. What should I do...I started the regular protocol and now I think I am on the accelerated. I have a SNS and some donor milk from my girlfriend...
Thanks so much...you all have been so helpful!

Amy if you feel that the birthmom is concrete in her decision to place I would go off the bcp and start pumping this week, tomorrow even smile. Do you have to travel for placement or is birthmom local?

BTW how exciting that you will be holding you new little one in only two short weeks.

I would stop the pills and start pumping right away. Try tonight!

Stop taking the BCP and start pumping (I pumped about 24 hours after taking my last pill)! Then add in the fenugreek and blessed thistle (3 pills of each 3 times a day). You should make it a goal to pump every 2-3 hours during the day and at least once in the middle of the night. You may have a pretty good supply going by the time the baby arrives. I would the SNS ready in case you need it. The donated bm is great.
