I BF our adopted daughter. Most people, like you said jenmarko are very interested but usually surprised. I just talk very candidly about it as though it is just a very natural thing. My advice for talithasmom or any anyone else for that matter is to explain simply without too many details the process of induction. I have even directed several people to this web site. My childs pediatrician was elated and tells everyone about us. Hopefully it gives us ABF moms good PR.
BTW, we are expecting another adopted baby in late January/early Feb, I posted on 10.30 asking for advice. I haven't had any responses. I don't want to be a pain and nag but if any of you have any advice for me I want to hear it. I feel like time is getting short. I am still bf our 20mo and need some advice from those of you who have had the same experience. What are the best ways for me to increase production? It looks as though I will be tandem nursing. Do I have to do the protocol? Should I start pumping and taking herbs? Thanks! Cheecho
