I'm on the NG Protocol (day 94) and wondered about one thing. I take my dom at 6am, 2pm and 10pm.

The last two doses I don't worry about because I have a totally empty stomach in the first dose and haven't eaten for at least 1 1/2 hours with the last dose but with the afternoon dose; I don't eat anything a half hour before most days but sometimes might have tea with milk around that time either within an hour of taking it or after. Does that make that much of a difference?

I think that the "taking it on an empty stomach" is more when it is used for gastrointestinal issues than it is for the bf side effect. I try to take it on an empty stomach, but don't worry too much if I don't. I've had a great response to the dom.

Oh,

I thought it meant that you wouldn't absorb as much of it if you had any food in your stomach. I'm just trying to maximize the effect. I guess I won't know until I pump and right now that still seems far away.

Some women need to take it with a bit of food. Do what works best for you.

Why do they need food; does it bother them or is it absorbed better that way? My goal is maximum absorption.

it bothers their stomach so they take it with a little food. If you can take it on an empty stomach then do it.
