Hi.

I'm trying to figure out which system to buy. The Medela SNS or the Lact-Aid. How many should I buy?

Any suggestions?

I used the SNS for a the first 2 months because I had no access to this forum. I found it extremely frustrating to use. After I was able to see what other mom's used on this site, I bought a lact aid and it was SO much better.
The SNS is more of gravity feed, the baby doesn't really have to latch on or suck much, The lact aid is much better design and encourages a strong latch and it stimulates your breast at the same time.

My opinion is hands down the lact aid.

btw I re used the bags by washing them out and drying them. worked like a breeze! Others have used a bottle instead of the bags. Either way it works!
