Need for Protocol Poll

Lenore, we could really use your knowledge here. We need stats on each Birth Control Pills rate of success in regard to inducing lactation.

Just having done "A Protocol" does not show the whole picture. Every women yes does produce differently, BUT every type of BCP used is entirely different. We have to read thru hundreds of posts trying to figure out what BCP the women used and then sift through posts to see how that worked for her. Just saying I did "The regular protocol" tells us nothing! It all really depends on "WHAT" BCP the women used, really. I see thru hours of this sifting and reading that Diane 35 had great results but the new progesterone only BCP has had very poor results. We need as women to be able to read the stats on all BCP protocols and decide for ourselves with our Doctors advice, which BCP we should choose. To tell us the success rate of your "Protocols" that where based on old stats using BCP that you no longer recommend, is not a clear picture of today's results with the BCP you are recommending today, Provera and Prometrium. The information that I can get from message boards is slim. We need the whole picture....Stats. Let us talk to our doctor on the pros and cons of each BCP. We need the information from your research thru the years. What are the stats of Diane 35's with regard to breast milk production?, what is Yasmin? Ortho?, Provera?, Promietrium? ect...
If this is at all possible, please it would help out immensely.

If any women would like to post here...
1. What BCP they used?
2. After one and two months of pumping, how much milk they
produced?

I used Yasmin twice and was on the regular protocol for 8+ months each time. I was able to achieve a full supply for each child within 2-3 weeks, but they were small babies, so that was probably only about 12 oz at the time. I increased to meet their needs to about 24 oz a day. I never had to supplement after the initial 2 weeks.
