I am in a waiting pool for infant adoption, and started the protocol 5 weeks ago, using Yasmin and Domperidone. I do not know exactly when to expect my child - could be a few days, could be a few months. When would you suggest I stop the Yasmin and begin the pumping? Would checking my prolactin level be helpful? Thanks for all the information you all share here.

I'd recommend staying on the protocol as long as possible. The longer you are on it, the more milk you will make. I was on it 8.5 months, and I have a full supply. I am not saying you have to stay on it that long, but at least 3 months would be a good thing, and preferably 4-6 months. Unless you get your baby before that, of course. It takes your body 9 months to get the milk going during a pregnancy. You want to give your body enough time to get milk makers in your breasts working properly.
Good Luck!
