OP DebbeCA member Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 17 California	I used to take Lo Ovral BCPs, and the last time I did, I got headaches on a regular basis. Did anyone have this experience with Ortho Novum? Debbe, DW to John Very Proud and Happy IM to and Friend of Val Anya due August 23

csw member Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 86 Maryland	Hi, I have been on ortho novum, Diane 35 (no longer rec) and Yasmin..I had the least side effects with ortho ..it is also a lower dose, maybe that is why....Cathy NG protocol 7 months.pumped 5/15-9/15 started pumping again 1/26/04 Ana born 6/03.home 3/30/04 trying to nurse!

Lenore extra helpful experienced member L Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 1,347 Canada	Hi Debbe, Unfortunately Ortho Novum is a mini pill and does not contain nearly enough progesterone for the protocol to work. Try Ortho 1/35. Fondly, Lenore Goldfarb, Ph.D.,CCC,IBCLC Wife to Rob, Mom to Adam aged 13, and Ethan aged 9, both born via GS and breastfed via Regular Newman-Goldfarb Protocol.
