I've been eating quinoa (pronounced keen-wa) on and off over the past few weeks and have noticed that my milk supply is higher on the days that I have had a bowl of quinoa than on days I haven't. I just thought that you might find this helpful! I'd be interested if anyone else has noticed this or if they liked quinoa and wanted to test it. Thanks, looking forward to input!

Hi Sandra,

I can't tell you how curious I am to try quinoa! I have been eating a bowl of oatmeal every morning since last March <img src="http://www.asklenore.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/tongue.gif" alt="" /> !!! It's about time for a change.

I was so curious that I found http://www.quinoa.net . They have some links to order from, but I was wondering if it was something that you could simply buy in a supermarket...?

Thanks.

Cathryn, I buy quinoa at my local grocery store (Farmer Jack), but they only recently began carrying it. Prior to recently, I've been getting it from a nearby "whole foods" (organic type) health food store. They also sell quinoa pasta, but I don't like the flavor of it. I cook the quinoa grain with chicken broth instead of water and it is delicious!! Hope you find that it increases your supply as well!! Sandra
