I'm so very excited! I just began pumping this morning (1.5 hours ago). I had told myself not to expect to see anything for 1-2 weeks. Well, I had significant droplets (first cloudy, then thick)! After 7 long years of trying to get my body to behave, I finally feel like it's cooperating!

I have about 7 weeks until my son arrives (via his most amazing surromom)! I know that the pumping will get old in a bit, but for now, it's just the most amazing experience for me!

Just wanted to share my excitement!

Have a great day!

Kate

Wow, congratulations Kate! It's such a wonderful feeling knowing that you have succeded with the protocol!

I started pumping 3 weeks ago and I'm now producing a wonderful 7fl oz of milk per day for my baby daughter - due mid June through our lovely surrogate! I'm so pleased...

Hope your supply keeps increasing!

Love

I've been using the medela pump-in-style. Took me a session or two to get the hang of it. My wonderful surrogate lent me her avent double electric pump, I'll give that a try in a couple of days to compare the two. But for now, I'm more than happy with the PIS!

One of the things that I've noticed is that yesterday my left breast was more productive, today my right. Very interesting. Still only getting about 1 tsp per breast, but very happy about that! I'm way too eager and have to temper my expectations. But it is exciting!
