O MY GOSH!!!! I have been on the acc protocol for just 10 days. Tonight I was standing in my kitchen doing dishes and felt something wet on my shirt (I wasnt wearing a bra). I thought I dropped some water. But I lefted my shirt and I had drops of milk on my breasts. I squeezed them a little more and got several drops from each breast. I dont mean just one or 2 I mean several constant drops. Is this any indication on how I might do on the protocol? Or is this just normal? I guess I wasnt expecting any milk until I started pumping and that is still 2 months away. What should I do at this point. Should I just continue the Yasmine and Domp or go ahead and pump or hand express? I am SOOOO HAPPY!!!!

Hi Jewel,

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Now be a good girl and leave your breasts alone and let the protocol continue to do it's job. The longer you stay on the meds the better your result will be.

Fondly,

Hee! Hee! Hee! Jewel .. listen to Lenore .. she knows what she is talking about! It is so tempting to want to pump, but you must resist the urge. Buy yourself some nursing pads perhaps!

Aloha,
Christina

Thank you. I will hold off on pumping until July. The baby is due in August. I am just so thrilled to see something already. I'll be good I guess and let it just happen.hehe

Jewel, I also leaked about a week into the protocol -- I got up at 4:30am to see why my four year old was crying, and then noticed my gown was wet -- I soared for the next several weeks!

I've been pumping for 4 weeks now, and believe I've made it to 7 oz today -- it's very exciting to keep producing more each week! The other BIG news is our birthmom (EDC 5/31) has been having irregular contractions for the last two days, and she passed her mucus plug. I've got my suitcase packed now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep up the good work, Jewel!! And hold out on the pumping -- it's worth it!!

Great news, Jewel. Did you have children that you breastfed or is this your first time lactating? Just curious.

Wow Karen! Anytime now, how exciting. Is yours an adoption or a surrogacy? You said birthmom so I am thinking adoption? I can't wait to hear about your new little one.

yes I nursed my bio daughter for 10 months before she weaned herself . I hope/pray that I can nurse this baby as well.
