HI all,
We have a tenative match on a baby due in 6 weeks. I stopped taking the Yasmin and started pumping Mon morning. So far I have seen a few times on my right breast only little glistening spots but not everytime. I have funny tingly tickly feelings when I pump. I am using the PIS and I start out on 5 for 5 min and then go to 3 for 10 to 15 more minutes I am on medium suction. When should I start to see something? Should I be worried yet that there isn't any milk?
Thanks
Joni

No you should not be worried about not seeing milk yet. It may take a little while. Try to keep in mind that your breasts are in training. They need to learn how to give milk to a pump. The tingly feeling is a good sign. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Are you doing the jiggle and shake/breast massage? That may help. Have you added in the herbs? Give it time you should have plenty of time to get your supply going. BTW congrats on your tentative match! How Exciting!

You are doing amazing! The Yasmin needs to work its way out of your system before you'll notice a bigger milk supply. I started in the same way when I was inducing for Adam. But it increased fast. I went from a few droplets a few days after stopping the bcpill, to pumping 2 oz. a session within about three weeks. So don't get discouraged at all!

Congratulations on your match and keep up the good work pumping. How long were you on the protocol? Are you eating oatmeal three times per week now?
