Hi,

I nursed my adopted daughter for 7 months using the awesome protocol that I got from this site. She is now 4 1/2.

I used Dom and Yasmin very successfully so I went to my family doc and took him a copy of all the documentation from the site. He said he didn't feel comfortable prescribing the meds and sent me to my Gynecologist. In short? I got the same response has anyone ever run into a problem like this?

My doctor in Dallas didn't blink. I can't believe two doctors in San Antonio don't believe in the protocol.

I am in perfect health and have no medical issues.

Can anyone suggest a doctor in San Antonio who can help?

If you have Dom or Yasmin for sell I will gladly buy it.

Thanks,
Maria

Big Dreamer,

You've done the protocol before, and know that you're healthy. I don't see that you *need* a physician to prescribe the meds for you. They should know that you are on them, because your physician should know all the meds that you're on, but you can get them on your own on the internet.

Many women use inhouse pharmacy and have had great luck with it. You can get both meds on that website.

I'm sure Lenore or one of the other experienced members will be along shortly to help out too!

Good Luck!

I agree. Let your doctor know you are doing the protocol and get the meds online. I would also give a call to your Doctor in Dallas and ask for a recommendation for a new doctor as well as that he/she call the doctors you are seeing and have a chat with them.

Great ideas ladies thanks..I didn't realize that I didn't need a prescription to order the meds.

I placed an order today at In House but wasn't sure how much Dom to get so I order 900 to start.

On average how much do you order?

Thanks,
Maria

Hi Big dreamer,
If you still need a San Antonio supporter, Lois Stauffer from the midwifery group, Lone Star OBGYN would support your endeavor. Most midwives are very happy to encourage breastfeeding, but this group still functions like doctors and give prescriptions for bc, etc. Hope this helps!
