I gave birth via c section at one day short of 35 weeks, they were 6lbs 7oz and 5 15oz they spent time in the NICU 9 and 11 days. well they had to watch how much they were taking in and usually with the feeding tube until the last few days, so they didn't let me nurse them- they had to watch there intake. so they are going to be 4 weeks old this thursday and i only pump- becuase they have almost broken my boobs when I try to get them to latch on- the LC told me proabbly becuase they know there is not enought milk there. I went on domperidone today- is sleepiness a side effect?
2. how long is typical to see results?
3. how hard will it be to get them to latch on if I have full milk production?

newtwinmom sorry you are struggling. I say think about finding another LC and get a lact-aid so they get supplement at your breast. We have a transition to breast protocol. I can email it to you. PM me with your email address I am sure it will help you get them to your breast.
