I just registered for this site and I'm so excited that I will be getting some great help here. It seems as though all of you are a wealth of informaion and I'm really needing some help now.

Our WONDERFUL surro is pregnant with twins for me and my husband. They're due in May! I'd like to try and breastfeed them although I'm not sure I'll get a full supply for them, so I'll probably supplement with formula while they're at the breast.

I've started taking the domperidone and have been on it for about 2.5 weeks. I've been taking 4 x 10mg - 3 times per day (so 12 pills per day). I am unable to take the hormones due to previous pulmonary embolism.

Here are my questions:

Should I start taking the max amount of dom (16 pills) now?

I have a double electric pump, but I find that I am only able to pump 1 time per day. I pump for a little over an hour - 10 minutes on, ten minutes off. I'm working and I can't do it at work - there really isn't a private spot to do it. Any suggestions?

How long after taking the 16 pills per day dose would you add the herbs?

The recommended dose for Domperidone is 80mg but you are already taking 120mg. I wouldn't recommend you go up on your Domperidone. You may want to take Goat's Rue tablets(1 capsule/4xday) as well as Dom to encourage milk duct production. As far as pumping it would really be a good idea if you could pump a minimum of 3x/day. As it gets closer to the twins arrival you would increase your pumping to every 3 hours to a newborn feeding schedule.
