Hi everyone! Since I have started the protocol (BCP and dom) I have steaduly gained weight. Now my breasts are definately more plump and that is some of it but my whole body has plumped up almost like I was preggo. Has anyone else experienced this or is this a common side effect? It seems as if my body is preparing to nurse by storing some fat lol!

I am getting ready to start the protocol, and am dismayed by the prospect of gaining weight, since I worked hard this year to get to my goal weight (and am now a few lbs over after Thanksgiving).

My question is: has anyone done the full or accelerated protocol and NOT gained weight, other than in your breasts??

Thanks,
Rita

I was dismayed by this post too!

I was hoping that breasfeeding/pumping would help to shed some pounds - as most women that do this after giving birth, find that it help them lose weight.......am I being unrealistic?

Anyone not take the hormones and still find this?

Just like you would gain weight if pregnant the protocol mimics a pregnancy and so some weight gain is normal. 10 pounds maybe you can follow a high protein low carb diet to keep the weight off or shed the pounds later.
