I am going to start pumping in about 2 weeks...finally after being on the protocol for over 7 long months. When I initially start pumping, do I pump every 3 hours over night or just once overnight? Also, will I be lucky enough to get the wonderful weight loss advantage when pumping like you do when you are breastfeeding a bio babe? I have gained 15ish pounds on this protocol ! eek....and would like it to GO AWAY!!
thanks, melanie

I was hoping I'd lose weight, but I haven't yet. However, if you actually watch what you eat (I haven't been), I think you can lose. I would love to hear if others are losing weight while pumping.

Best wishes for lots of milk,
Nancy

I started pumping yesterday and yehehehhh I got some milk, I am trying to pump every 3 hours so far I have about half ounze though, I am using hand puum for now I rented hospital grade medala but I guess there is something wrong with the pump I dont get single drop from it so I will exchange for another one till then I am using hand pump.. I want to know from your experiences if this is normal btw I was on accerlarated protocol, Any advice on increasing milk production will be appreciated.
another thing I had ordered more yazmin cuz I thought I wasn't ready to pump so I only took one pill from the new pack I ordered then nexy day I pumped so I stopped yazmin , is this okay our should I just take the yasmin as well.
Please let me know
Thank you so much in advance

Once you start pumping you should stop the Yasmin. The estrogen in the Yasmin will suppress you milk production.
