I have been on the protocol for many many months and finally started pumping yesterday. Our baby (through adoption) is due Aug. 10. I am looking for a face-to-face buddy who is going or has gone through this.

I am in Culver City (Los Angeles).

Hi, I noticed that you did not receive any public posts to be your buddy... I was thinking of doing the same thing, but I live in Denver, Colorado. It would be nice to have a support group. Seems like noone else around here is doing this.

Did you receive a private response? If so, please let me know. I would like to try to find a buddy too. If not, I can be your Western US buddy!

I have been on Dom since Nov/Dec 2007. My Jan 2008 adoption suffered a disruption and we found another situation in April 2008. Because I had faith, I started pumping in March 08 and my daughter was born on May 15, 2008. I have been successfully breastfeeding with a few supplemental bottles here and there (with my frozen breastmilk). I would love to have a friend in this.

I do not have another buddy yet. No responses. So let's do it!

I started the meds (Yasmin/Dom) Sept. 07 and also had a disruption for a Jan. 08 adoption. We have had 2 other disruptions since then:
1) a very early disruption for a Aug. 08 adoption
2) a recent disruption also for a Aug. 08 adoption--BMom was scamming us. She had multiple attorneys and was matched with multiple couples.

We just got matched again. Baby due Aug. 10. I started pumping on July 3 immediately after getting the match. Found out yesterday that they want to induce her at 37 weeks so my pumping is going to be cut short. I will show up with a SNS and see what happens.

Wow, you will have another baby soon! Congratulations! That is so exciting! Do you know if Xavier will be having a brother or sister?
