...that produced less than ounce per 24 hours after 2 weeks of pumping and still went on to get a good supply?

I just need to know that there is hope. But please tell me the truth.

to be totally honest with you. I was pumping for over 2 months before I got to 1 ounce a day. So your doing better than I did. And I topped out at 10 ounces a day

Gosh, I am having a hard time remembering... even though it was only a few months ago. Hard to believe considering that every new little amount was cause for celebration.

I was not on the accelerated protocol, I pumped for two months prior to getting my daughter. I got drops for two weeks then between week 2 and week 4 I started getting streams. I think that was when I started getting about an ounce in the morning and maybe about 3-5 ounces a day. Between week 4 and week 8 I worked my way up to about 12-15 ounces per day.

I have always used a hospital grade pump, which I think has been very helpful and I pumped every 2 to 3 hours obsessively (except at night).

I hope this helps! Hang in there.

Me too!

I guess I should have started pumping long before I did, especially after being on the protocol for so long.

But there's no sense crying over spilled milk. LOL
