I have the same thing you described. Breasts feel heavy and full, but I don't get a letdown with the pump.

Hi! sounds like you and I are in the exact same boat. Lenore didn't really respond about the spray. I haven't tried it/got it at this point. Our LC's don't even know if they make it anymore. Lenore said to try to eat a cracker or cookie while I pump. There apparantly was a study on this and it said that you can encourage a let-down via the gut. Hasn't worked for me. I am still struggling...not much more than the usual one ounce in 24 hours and half of that comes with the 1am and 6am pumpings. Then I dwindle and putz all day and evening long...a little here, a little there. One side also has decided to almost quit totally on me. At times I don't get even one drop out of it. Then sometimes I get more. I am still trying though...you hang in there.!!

Yes, it sounds like we are in the exact same boat, only I am getting about 1/2 oz. per 24 hours. It is interesting what you say about the night pumpings because now that I think about it, I do get more at night and sometimes I sleep through the 2nd pumping. I will try not to do that any more.

I'll try the cracker trick.

My supply seems to wax and wane. Just when I think it is going to quit on me altogether, I'll get a huge spray from one breast. I'm not giving up though. I am convinced that the baby will do a better job than the pump is doing.

Another thing...

I've noticed that I get more milk if I look at my son, sniff his head, get kisses from him, etc. while I'm pumping. That is where the oxytocin thing comes in. So when I am holding my baby, I am sure that that will help with production also.
