Hey there. I know how frustrated you might be right now. The beginning of the blood clot was the worst time for me, I couldn't walk properly, I couldn't eat all I wanted, and I was on the ugly warfarin. That was 18 months ago, and back then I never thought it will be over. Well, now I'm only on baby aspirin and my blood clot has disappeared when I had the last ultrasound last week. You will have to work with a hematologist and do anything he/she asks you to do. Drink tons of water, I drink at least 2 - 3 liters per day. This really helps. And I'm still in my compression stoickings, and they don't annoy me at all now.
I'm sorry you feel that way :-( But trust me there is a light at the end of this tunnel. Where exactly is your clot and how big is it? Mine was in my right leg from right above the ankle till mid thigh, so it was a huge one. But it resolved. After the swelling was gone, my doctor wanted me to excericse daily. WALK, WALK, WALK. This helps pushing the blood in the veins from the leg to the heart and lungs and thus preventing more clots.
Unfortunately I lost my twins 2 days after they were born and I developped the clot 3 weeks after losing them. We are now waiting to adopt, and that's why I am on domperidone and fenugreek.
Feel free to ask about anything.
The link I am copying here shows that the warfarin is excreted in breast milk but that no reports about effects on babies were proven.
