So the fenugreek is finally starting to kick in after one whole month. I am starting to smell like maple syrup and it is NOT nice at all.

But the frustrating thing is, I am still stuck at 2 oz. of pumped milk per day. When will I start to see an increase in my supply too? I thought when I smell, it means the fenugreek is finally in my system. Ugh. The things we have to endure to bond with our future bundles of joy. I am sure it will all be worth it.

Just needed to vent :-S

Hapi ((hug)) It will all be worth it. The good news is you have milk and once baby is nursing it will increase, even if you don't see anymore milk while pumping until then. Just keep up what you are doing. smile

Congrat, Hapi! Do you think there is more milk in there but it's just not coming out? Are you able to pump 6x or more per day? If not, you might want to try increasing the number of times you pump. If you're not keeping a chart, you might want to start one that lists when you pump, how long and how much you made. I didn't do that before and I think I probably wasn't pumping enough to actually increase my supply.

Thanks Laurie and Nancy.

Nancy, I still need to pump more. I don't seem to pump enough and have no time to do it either. I was just telling my husband that I need to set a schedule for my pumping and how much I produce per session. I am using a hand pump so I never mump more than 10 minutes per session, on each breast, that's 20 minutes.
The days I pump like 4 times, I would normally get around 20 ml. per session , that is less than one ounce. I'll keep pushing myself to pump more.

But the minute I'm done pumping I feel empty and like there's nothing to pump for the rest of the day. I mean, I never feel full :-( It'll come I'm sure. I just need to be more patient.

Thank you both.

Please try to get a double electric pump. You will be amazed at the change in your supply

I know Nona. The problem is where I live, I cannot find double pumps and they don't rent any either. The single electric pump is too expensive to buy too. SO I guess for now I'm stuck with my poor hand pump :-(

Maybe that's why my supply is low. I hope when baby is here, actualy breastfeeding would increase my supply.
