When you say that you started on Day 5.... Is that the fifth day after you start your period?

Yes. Day one is the first day of your period. Day 5 is the 5th day.

I'm on my 3rd month of the dom (regular protocol) and having breakthrough bleeding....
Since I never had time to do the bcp the first time, I'm wondering what you have experienced with the breakthrough: How long did it last? Should I be concerned about it for any medical reason?

Rachael I can't answer the first par to f your question but as for being concerned , NO there is nothing to be concerned about medically with breakthrough bleeding. It is just inconvenient.
