Hi Ladies,

Just read on one of the previous threads that most people see sprays in week 2. I'm in week 2 of pumping and I'm not getting sprays yet. It still is "dropping" in to the bottle. I AM getting about 4oz. per day from my left, but hardly 1/2 of that from my right (guess that one's a slow starter.....). I'm following all of the guidelines so I hope to see a good increase in the next few weeks. Boy, this is like watching water boil, isn't it?

Hi Susanne,

Just to encourage you, I didn't see sprays until I hand expressed. I only had drops with the pumping. 4oz is great!

I have never 'evened' out with my left producing much more than my right, but it hasn't hampered a full BF experience. : )

Keep on, it's worth the effort.

Hi Linda,

Thank you for your reply. I do read all of the posts on the board and it does seem that everyone's experience is different. I had great concerns going in to the process because I have already gone through menopause and also had implants when I was younger. But all seems to be working! It seems that most people do have one side producing more than the other as well. I'm a total over achiever so I'm having to settle back and go with the flow, which is not easy for me! Thanks again for your encouragement. It's so nice to have everyone here to share with.

If you are getting close to 6 oz a day that is great. It must be dripping out pretty quickly. I am surprised you aren't seeing sprays getting that much a day. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Jennifer,

I have to wonder if it's more difficult to get a spray with the implants. Even though my breasts are pretty soft, the implant still takes up quite a bit of room so it makes it harder to express even by hand. If I had only known I'd be doing this when I was young..... Thanks for your input as well.

Susanne
