Morningstar, Linda gives you great advice. The lact-aid will keep baby at breast longer and provide more stimulation. That equals more production. The bottle only provides a bit more milk for the baby and can hamper your efforts to increase your supply. Plus babies figure out quickly that milk is easier to get out of the bottle and they can start refusing the breast rather quickly. I agree if you have the lact-aid use it instead of the bottle.

Also the first growth spurt occurs at 6 weeks so that is probably why he is requiring a bit more. Keeping him at the breast will allow your body to catch up to his need.

One more thing,
I did increase my dom to 120mg a day. There were several people on the forum who had done this as well. I found an increased milk supply after I changed to the higher dose. Maybe try to increase to 100mg and see if you notice a difference.

Hope that is right Lalle?
