Hi everyone, I am happy to have found this forum. I started the NG protocol in January for an Ethiopian adoption this year, and just recently found out we will be adopting twins. WOW!!
I am taking Yasmin, and at about 5 weeks on protocol I started spotting which soon turned into a very light almost menstrual-type flow. Since then the spotting has been off and on, mostly on. That kinda sucks, but I sure was glad to read on other posts here that it's normal. I was wondering!
From about the 3rd week on I started noticing breast changes. They are larger, fuller and tender, and when I use the manual expression technique just for kicks I immediately am able to express a few drops of clear, to clear-with-some-white fluid from each breast. COOL! Now I know from the protocol and also reading some posts here that I am not supposed to express until I stop the BCP. I read that expressing "confuses your body", but I'm wondering, does anyone know a more medical or scientific explanation why not to express?
It's reassuring to see those drops of milk every once in a while and I'm just wondering... "Why not?"
Thoughts?
