Well, it is 5 days short but we will be out of town then so I just had to say how excited I am that we have made it 6 months as a nursing couple. At 5 months DD went through a 3 day nursing strike and I was sure she was done, turns out she wasn't done. We have a house at our farm and only stay there during harvest time (or hunting) and at home we only nurse in the recliner. Her 3 day strike was at our farm house and I think that DD just didn't want to nurse in a new place. She also won't nurse in public becasue she has too many other things and people to look at but at home she is a big booby monster and is on most of the time at home.
I am probably only making 1/2 of her needs and that is OK for me. In fact I have weaned myself off Domperidone for the most part and have stopped taking herbs a while ago.
I am so glad I found this site for all the great advice I have recieved.

That's wonderful!
I just weaned after 14 months. This was a much longer time period of nursing that with my bio children, but it was very precious to me.
I stopped taking domp and the herbs at 11 months and it didn't seem to affect my milk supply much.

I too am very appreciative of this site and all the wonderful advise.
