So far, I have been pumping for just about 2 weeks. I seem to get more and more milk each day and right now, about 1 1/2 ounces. The problem is that over an ounce of the 1 1/2 ounces arefrom one side. The other breast only gives me about 1/2 an ounce at the most. I started getting sprays about 3 days ago and the slow side started today. It is getting better but is there a way to increase the lacking breast???

Often times one side will be a better producer than the other that is totally normal

Things are definately still lopsided but the lesser producer is slowly increasing its production. I have been pumping now for 3 weeks and am getting 3 ounces from the good side and only about 3/4 ounce from the other side. I hope it continues to increase...

What kind of pump are you using?

I am using the medela symphony. It is definately increasing but very slowly compared to the other side. I am doing all the same things as the other but was thinking that maybe I should try to pump a little longer or more often on that side? Not sure...

You might always pump more from the other breasts. But you can sure pump a little longer on that side. More stimulation should help build your supply out of that breast

I will try pumping a little longer on that side. I am now getting 4 ounces a day from one side and only 1 ounce from the lacking side.
