I started with the accelerated protocol for 35 days. I have been pumping now for 3 weeks tomorrow. I have not seen much of a change and I am growing concerned. I am pumping 8-9 times a day with the pump in style. I am on domiperidone and the herbs. I seem to still be getting drops. I fill the bottom of a bottle after a whole day of pumping. After about 10 minutes of pumping I get very little...but I have been pumping for 20 minutes anyways. Should I be concerned, what can I do to increase my milk? Does this mean this will not work for me?

When is your baby due? How much Dom are you taking? Are you getting enough fluids?

Hi,

I did the accelerated protocol for 30 days. I already had my daughter in arms though, and used the lact aid. I was discouraged with the small amount of milk she received from me. So after investigating it here with the other moms, I upped my dose of dom to 120mg a day. I saw a marked improvement. I do agree that the baby nursing is FAR better than a pump. So don't let the small amount of milk you are pumping out now make you believe you won't have more once your babies come.

btw, I was able to achieve nearly 100% of my daughter's needs and that was 19 years AFTER I had breastfeed my last son. I also nursed her until 14 months. It's worth it!
