Hi,
I'm beginning the 8th wk of Yasmin & dom. We had a family emergency (death) and had to travel across the country. We got out in such a hurry, I left my meds at home. It will be about a week before I get back.
What will happen (physically & otherwise) by interrupting my meds that long? What should I do...just restart when I get home? Will I start to lactate before then? I also had two weeks of breakthrough bleeding that just stopped about 10 days ago. It's supposed to be another 2-3 months before adoption.
Any help, advice or experience would be helpful.
Thanks, Laura

I haven't done any parts of the protocol (still just doing the research part), however, I have emailed Lenore & she has ALWAYS written back...usually within a few hours. Have you tried emailing her? She would be your best resource!
Good luck! Candace

Hello, One week is a long time to go without meds. Does someone have a key to your house and could overnight the meds? If you are ready to start pumping you could rent a pump at a local hospital in the area you are in now. See what Lenore says also. My condolences for the death in the family. Take care, Cathy

This is yech!
By the time I was a day late on my Yasmin, I started bleeding. I assume this is normal. I couldn't get someone to send the meds.
Also I've noticed some tightness and fullness in my breasts. Wondering if my milk is trying to come in. We're kinda in a spot where we don't know when adotion may occur. It could be within a month or a year. I haven't started any kind of pumping and had the meds for about 2 mos. It's still going to be almost a week before I get home. Should I try to get to a pump (which my be interesting around hubby's extended family-not sure how they would react) or even DH? Should I try manual expression (which I often did with my birth baby)? Or should I just sit tight and wait till I get home, and restart the meds?
I hope I haven't screwed up the whole process.
Any advice appreciated. Thanks Laura

It won't be to late for you in a week. The Yasmin will have just gotten out of your system. And the changes will still be there. As soon as you get home. Start right back on them. That way you get more glandular growth. The longer your on it the better it will be for your milk supply. hugs to all, Nona

Hi Everyone, In a case like this, where you forget your meds, the best thing is to order from Mexico. They deliver in 2 days. You can always get Ortho 1/35 from www.getthepill.com to cover yourself for a few days until you get home. But if all else fails, it takes the breasts two months to return to their original state so 10 days shouldn't be too much of a problem, just get right back on the protocols ASAP. Fonldy,

Rosie, Unless you need them asap, COD,,I would not rec. Mexico. The ones I got from there came open in a ziplock bag and seemed to be of poor quality. I would order the blister packs from New Zealand. Take care, Cathy
