I have both right now because I started with the symphony and because it was so much to rent, I have borrowed a pump in style from a friend. I really liked the symphony but the pis works good too. Supply has not gone backwards, which was the main thing for me!
Good luck with breastfeeding your twins!

Ameda runs to slow. I had the Elite. Did NOT like the PISA. I love the PIS original and the Limerick. Why rent when you can buy one for about the price of 3 months rental

The Limerick is also rated multi user so you can re-sell it when you are through with it.

I am lucky enough to be able to borrow a Lactina from work, and have been using that since I started pumping. Pumping is not at all comfortable, but I tolerate it. I start on the fastest speed and lowest suction, and increase the suction if I can tolerate it after a couple of minutes.

The other day I had access to a Medela Symphony for the whole day. It was great. Quieter, and I like the way it starts with low suction, fast speed and then switches after 2 minutes to higher suction, slower speed. It helped me imagine I was nursing a baby. I got similar amounts of milk with both the Lactina and the Symphony, but I liked the Symphony better because of the settings (it seemed to have a much lower suction setting that was much more comfortable to me)
