Hi mommies!

Our baby will be 10 months old or older by the time we get her home. She has been bottle fed since she was 3 weeks old. How will I get her to take the breast? I need some strategies that have worked for you all.

My husband and I are unsure when we'll be getting a child as we're adopting through social services and not a private adoption with an expected due date. Our child could be between NB - 2 years but the social workers did say that because I'm going to be breastfeeding they think a child "around 10 months" will be better suited. Adopting a newborn has very long waits so as young as possible I guess. So, I too may have a child who is older and has been bottlefed for a long period.
