Hi all. I've been on the regular protocol for @ 50 days. A few days ago I experienced a little discharge out of my right breast without any stimulation. It's not enough to collect, just a clear drop (about the size of a small tear). Has anyone experienced this so early?

On another note, I have been experiencing some light spotting? Is this normal?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't leak early but I know that some woman on this board did. Spotting is totally normal. I spotted for the first month at least

I definatetly did both. The spotting drove me crazy! In fact, I have been pumping for around 5 months now and have had normal periods but lately just spotting. I hope that this is normal!

I had drops before I started pumping as well.

Hi EJL, I've been told the leaking is a good sign. Also, it might get annoying after a while when it becomes more frequent. Make sure you wear a bra as much a possible it helps control the leaking. The SLIGHTEST stimulation can trigger the leaking.

Thanks. I went out and bought two nursing bras. So far so good, though very unflattering!

Good luck smile Some padding can help absorb the droplets that do leak after that. I use folded facial tissue paper between the nipples and that bra.

I have been on the regular protocol for only 2 weeks and when I applied pressure to my breast in the shower, a very small amount of milk appeared on the nipple. Very exciting!
