Could anyone please tell me if weight gain is normal for this protocol? I have gained 15lbs and just cant get it to come off. I thought maybe its the Dom? Any replies would be welcome as I dont seem to get any to my posts. thanks! ~Denise

Funny I went on to post the EXACT same question! I too gained 15 pounds, and although I hate being heavier I try and comfort myself with "it's all for a good cause". I think it's the dom and hormone changes? I've been on Dom since november, and started pumping in late march, no weight drop here but i think once the babies are here it will go down a bit (due in May).
so you'r not alone!

Hi,

I gained 10 lbs. I was hoping that once I started BF it would come off, but it didn't. Of course I had the same issue with my bio children. : )
I was able to get it off after I stopped BF at 14 months. It is worth it.

Glad to see that I'm not alone! I usually gain a few pounds in the winter but it seems like this is much more then I have ever gained.
Pumping is going well, I know I should be doing more but i work and I have an hour long commute to and from work so I give myself a break, I'm pumping about 4-5 times a day on week days and getting 3-4 ounces.. we'll see if it goes up once I finish work and can pump more regularly.

I have also gained weight, about 9 lbs. I blame the BCP's for mine though, because the last time (I induced previously) I lost some weight when I stopped the BCP's and started pumping and I was still taking the domperidone. I hope I have the same results this time.

I gained about 5 lbs on the protocol and lost about 10lbs over 5 months once I started pumping. THAT has been a nice side effect!

I have been on the regular protocol for 9 1/2 weeks and have gained 10 pounds. However, I have been eating like crazy so I know it's the food, not the pills. At least directly. However, indirectly, I think the BCPs are making me hungry all the time so therefore I eat all the time.
