Ok here is my problem. My Dad broke his back and I need to go see him before our baby is born the end of Aug (via surrogate). I am done with my 2 months of Yasmin on July 24th. The protocol is for me to start pumping after 2 months of Yasmin. Could I stay on Yasmin until I return back home on 8 Aug and still get my milk supply going after 3 weeks of pumping? I have the lact-aid system on hand to supplement. Your thoughts?

If you think you would not be able to pump every three hours while visiting your dad I would wait until you return home. You don't need a full supply when the baby is born because infants don't require as much milk. The baby will help your supply by suckling and your supply will increase with the baby's needs.

I didn't start pumping until our daughter was born because we had no notice. I built up to a full supply within 2 weeks (she had a small appetite). I would wait until you return.
