Hi.

Wondering if it is normal not to get a period after coming off the hormones? I was on them for about 3 months and stopped them when I began pumping two weeks ago.

I didn't take any hormones and my period stopped while taking domperidone for 15 1/2 months. Prolactin, what domperidone increases, can stop you period just like it does to prevent nursing moms from getting periods. It is not at all unusual to stop periods until you stop or wean the domperidone. Consider it a fringe benefit. It is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about.

Get this! I was on BCP and Dom for 13 weeks and had bleeding the entire time. I stop the BCP and start pumping expecting to get heavier bleeding, and instead, it stops. LOL
