OP joybells member J Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 89 TX	I have been on the regular protocol for 14 days. For the first 7 days, I took 10mg domp 4x per day as indicated in protocol. Then I upped to 20mg 4x per day as indicated... the headaches are extremely difficult for me as I am prone to migraines anyway. I have two daughters (age 5 and 3) so I can't just lay in bed all day. Anyway, today I reduced back to the 10mg 4x per day and had no headache so I for sure know that was the problem. QUESTION: So what is the minimum effective dose for domperidone in regular protocol?? Joy, mommy to three adopted blessings ages 5 and 3, and new preemie (born at 33 weeks)

How about taking some headache medicine an hour before every Dom dose? The minimum dose is 80mg per day divided into 4 doses. Once you start producing milk you could try to wean the dose down.
